Vision and Action also proposes to deepen financial cooperation and promote the construction of Asian monetary stability system, investment and financing system and credit system. Expand the scope and scale of bilateral local currency swaps and settlements in countries along the route. Promote the opening and development of Asian bond markets. We will jointly promote the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the BRICS Development Bank, and relevant parties will hold consultations on the establishment of a financing institution of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Accelerate cooperation and development in various financial fields such as the establishment and operation of the Silk Road Fund.

In this regard, He Lifeng, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that interconnection should be a trinity of infrastructure, systems and regulations, and personnel exchanges. Among them, infrastructure is the foundation and the weak link that currently restricts the deepening of cooperation among countries along the route. It should be a priority area of the "Belt and Road.
