At the opening ceremony, Mr. Yang Xiangdong, Director of Asia-Pacific Shipping, delivered the opening welcome speech. He warmly welcomed all participants and emphasized the significant importance of this seminar for advancing the ship and crew management industry. Captain Liu Huicheng (ASL SHEKOU) from Shanghai Xinyusheng analyzed route safety risks and countermeasures based on frontline practices in Red Sea transportation. Mr. Ji Zhongkun, Deputy General Manager of the Shanghai Branch of ClassNK (China) Co., Ltd., reinforced safety awareness among attendees through case studies of typical deficiencies in life-saving and firefighting equipment.

● Technology and Operations & Maintenance: The Jotun technical support team provided explanations on ship paint maintenance and application techniques, covering paint selection for different environments, application specifications, and maintenance tips. Experts including Chief Engineer Huang Feng, Manager of the Technical Department at Asia-Pacific Shipping, and Chief Engineer Chen Feng, Technical Superintendent, focused on core tasks for the engine and deck departments respectively. The former detailed preparation and monitoring points for main and auxiliary engines during heavy weather navigation, as well as standards for testing and maintenance records of ship lifting equipment. The latter conducted specialized training on risk control for dangerous goods transport and safety management of container transportation, offering a wealth of practical experience.
