On December 10, 2025, a delegation led by Mr. Lu Jiangfeng, Vice President of Shanghai Huayang Maritime, visited Tianjin Maritime College to conduct a series of substantial and fruitful activities. These included a meet-and-greet session for new students of the order-based class, English oral training, and graduate contract signings. This visit to Tianjin Maritime College further deepened school-enterprise cooperation, establishing a solid bridge for the cultivation and supply of maritime talents.

The meet-and-greet session for the new order-based class students commenced on schedule that afternoon. Vice President Lu Jiangfeng first provided the students with a detailed introduction to Shanghai Huayang's development history, business scope, and corporate culture. He emphasized that Shanghai Huayang is consistently committed to the development of the maritime industry, placing great importance on talent cultivation and recruitment, and offering employees broad development space along with favorable career advancement channels and platforms. During the session, Business Manager Zhou Jing and Crew Department Supervisor Fu Jiayi patiently and meticulously addressed students' inquiries regarding career development paths, salary benefits, working environment, and other aspects, giving the students a clearer understanding of their future career choices.

Subsequently, the company's English foreign teacher, Jenny, conducted an English intensive training session. During the training, she engaged students in practical exercises to improve their English listening and speaking skills through simulated scenario dialogues and interactions with foreign crew members. Focusing on professional vocabulary and grammar points where students commonly make errors, Teacher Jenny provided key explanations and corrections. She also shared some practical English learning techniques and methods, encouraging students to cultivate the habit of communicating in English in their daily lives to continuously enhance their English proficiency.

The event culminated in the graduate signing segment. Shanghai Huayang successfully reached employment intentions with outstanding graduates from Tianjin Maritime College, and employment agreements were signed on-site. These graduates, majoring in Navigation Technology, Marine Engineering, and other related fields, demonstrated diligence in their studies, solid professional skills, and a strong passion for the maritime industry during their time at college, expressing their aspiration to dedicate themselves to maritime careers. This signing not only provides a platform for these graduates to apply their talents but also meets Shanghai Huayang's demand for professional talents, serving as a powerful testament to the mutually beneficial and win-win nature of school-enterprise cooperation.

This visit by the Shanghai Huayang Maritime team to Tianjin Maritime College represents another significant achievement of the long-term cooperation between the two parties. Through face-to-face communication, professional training, and talent signings, the connection between the enterprise and the college has been strengthened, achieving precise alignment between talent cultivation and corporate needs. In the future, Shanghai Huayang Maritime and Tianjin Maritime College will continue to deepen their collaboration, launching more cooperative projects in areas such as curriculum design, practical teaching, internships, and employment. Together, they aim to cultivate more high-quality, application-oriented talents for China's maritime industry, contributing to its vigorous development.
