Prior to the conference, Song Jiahui, President of CDSA, Jason Velasin, Customer Director for Asia-Pacific Headquarters of IMCA, and Bao Rensong, General Manager of Shanghai Huayang Marine, delivered their respective opening remarks.

Mr. Mead, Chairman Liu Jianxu of Harbin Chuanhai Intelligent Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., Professor Yu Menghong of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Mr. Bao Renzong of Shanghai Huayang Maritime, Mr. Ruan Cunning, Head of China Marine Insurance Department of Weilai Insurance, Mr. Xu Xinyuan, Senior Consultant of DP Technology, and Ms. Li Taozhi of Shanghai Whale Spirit Public Welfare Innovation Center respectively integrated IMCA DP training system construction, China DP equipment testing and IMCA guide keynote speeches were delivered on successful cases of energy ship construction, research and development and application of domestic DP equipment technology, Shanghai Huayang assisting service marine engineering enterprises, safe operation and risk control of DP equipment, case sharing of DP operation accidents, introduction of dynamic tracking system for trailing suction dredger dynamic positioning, construction of ESG framework and insurance business of international marine engineering business. With their practical experience in their respective professional fields, the guests provided participants with valuable industry insights and cutting-edge knowledge, and discussed new paths for technological innovation and industrial upgrading; at the same time, for the safe operation and risk control of dynamic positioning equipment, they also put forward Professional insights and suggestions provide a useful reference for improving industry safety standards. In addition, through the construction of ESG topics and the key promotion of international offshore insurance business, the horizons of participants have been further broadened and cross-field exchanges and cooperation have been promoted.










As the core link and highlight of this conference, the round table discussion focused on the two themes of "how to cultivate DP and related offshore equipment operation professionals to adapt to the international market" and "opportunities and challenges for Chinese offshore enterprises to enter the international market". In-depth discussion and exchange were conducted.
In the morning round table discussion, Michael. Mr. Mead emphasized the importance of training professionals, and proposed to establish a sound training system, focusing on the combination of theory and practice, in order to improve the professional skills of operators and the ability to deal with complex sea conditions; Richard of IMCA. Mr. Pozer evaluated the training level of China's marine engineering professionals from an international perspective and gave CDSA constructive suggestions on how to accelerate the internationalization process by issuing domestic independent DP certificates. Zhang Benwei's senior engineer gave a detailed introduction on whether there are relevant operation guidelines for the operation of marine engineering equipment in China. Professor Zhou Yizong, an expert from the association think tank, expressed profound opinions on how DPS training conforms to the trend of new technology development and increases education and scientific research work.
The afternoon round-table discussion focused on the opportunities and challenges for Chinese offshore enterprises to enter the international market. CDSA Deputy Secretary-General Cui Shiyong elaborated on the relevant measures taken by the association to help the development of the national offshore industry, analyzed the trend and competition pattern of the international offshore industry market, and provided valuable market insights for Chinese companies. From the perspective of enterprises, Mr. Jason Villasingom introduced the needs and gaps of the international offshore market (including Southeast Asia), and shared the challenges and coping strategies encountered by Chinese offshore enterprises in the process of internationalization.




In addition, the invited technical experts of Zhenhua Heavy Industry Gong Fanming, Chairman Liu Jianxu, Chairman Wang Xinman of Zhejiang Manyang, Chairman Xu Gendi of Shenzhen Deweisheng, Professor Yu Menghong andMr. Nguyen also discussed the topic from different angles and shared their experiences and insights. The atmosphere of the whole round table discussion was warm, and the guests spoke actively, which brought profound thinking and inspiration to the participants.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Song Jiahui, chairman of the China Diving and Salvage Industry Association, delivered a concluding speech. He pointed out that this international seminar on ship dynamic positioning (DP) is the first time in China to hold a thematic event jointly with the International Maritime Contractors Association (IMCA). The conference not only promoted the exchange and cooperation between the maritime industry at home and abroad, but also provided valuable ideas and directions for the high-quality development of China's offshore industry. In the face of the rapid changes in the global maritime industry, Chinese offshore enterprises must continue to improve their technological level and innovation capabilities, and strengthen their docking with international high-standard rules to meet the needs of the international market.
